Cash-based services vs. Insurance

Here at Heart of Nature OT we offer cash-based services to our families. Here are a few reasons why we value this type of service.

1. Flexibility: We are allowed flexibility with our clients. Cash-based therapy allows us to determine the length, frequency, and treatment approaches.

2. Customized Care: We utilized the freedom to tailor our treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each child and family. We can offer services such as parent coaching and social groups that often times are not covered my private insurance companies due to strict insurance guidelines.

3. Reduced Administrative Burden: We spend less time on administrative tasks related to insurance billing and can focus more of our time on your child and family. This allows more time to focus on goals and recommendations outside of therapy sessions.

4. No Diagnosis Requirement: Some insurance plans require a medical or mental health diagnosis for coverage, which often times clients seeking pediatric occupational therapy services do not have or need. At Heart of Nature OT, your child does not need a diagnosis to have an evaluation or begin treatment. Your child can still benefit from a therapeutic setting to gain strategies and skills. Your therapist will meet your needs right where you are.
